Who can get it. Registered unemployed jobseekers who do not meet the conditions for earnings-related daily allowance, or have received it for the maximum period, and need financial support (means-tested). Without the work requirement or a vocational degree it is paid only after 21 weeks.

How much. 37,21 € per day (2026); waiting period of 7 weekdays; income above 311 € a month reduces it by half the excess.
