Who can get it. Workers who paid unemployment insurance for at least 12 months in the 24 months before the contract ended, and who file the full claim within 03 months.
How much. 60% of the average monthly wage on which unemployment insurance was paid over the last 06 months, at most 05 times the regional minimum wage.
For how long. 03 months for 12 to 36 months of contributions, one more month for each further 12 months; at most 12 months in total.
How to claim. File the claim within 03 months of the job ending at the employment service centre, or online through the national public service portal.

Looking for work while you claim
Claimants must notify the employment service centre about their job search every month; not doing so for 03 months in a row ends the allowance (Employment Law 2025, from 1 January 2026).
