Job Description
Company Description Flowwolf AOS is an autonomous operating system for logistics that sits on top of existing tools to read incoming work, decide what to do, and execute actions with humans stepping in only when judgment is needed. The platform automates carrier invoice processing from inbox to payment, turning invoices into fully processed transactions and routing only exceptions to operations teams. It also classifies and acts on logistics emails such as orders, PODs, rate confirmations, and status updates without manual forwarding or data entry. AOS manages EDI flows with shippers, carriers, and 3PLs, automatically surfacing mismatches instead of losing them in transit. Built for freight brokerages, 3PLs, shippers, and carriers, Flowwolf AOS connects to TMS, accounting, carrier payment platforms, and EDI partners to reduce routine work and focus teams on higher-value decisions.
Role Description The AI Engineer role at Flowwolf AOS is a full-time, on-site position based in Fremont, CA. In this role, you design, build, and optimize AI models that power autonomous logistics workflows, including invoice processing, email understanding, and EDI transaction handling. You will develop and maintain production-grade software components, integrate machine learning systems with existing TMS, accounting, and payment platforms, and ensure models perform reliably in real-world logistics environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and experimenting with new algorithms, implementing and tuning models for pattern recognition and NLP tasks, collaborating with product and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and monitoring system performance to drive continuous improvement. You will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices that keep the AI stack robust, secure, and scalable.
