Key Responsibilities
- AI Automation Strategy: Identify and prioritize opportunities to automate manual workflows across the organization, focusing on operational efficiency, error reduction, and business impact.
- Agent Development & Integration: Design, build, and deploy production-grade LLM agents and workflow automations integrated into existing business tools, including CRM platforms, Slack, Google Workspace, and internal systems.
- Systems Reliability: Develop resilient automation workflows with robust testing, monitoring, error handling, and rollback capabilities.
- Human-in-the-Loop Architecture: Establish approval frameworks that determine which processes can be fully automated and which require human oversight.
- Performance & Optimization: Measure automation effectiveness through time savings, accuracy improvements, and workflow adoption across departments.
- Technical Infrastructure & Security: Maintain and optimize the internal AI and SaaS technology stack while ensuring appropriate data security, access controls, and compliance standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, revenue, engineering, and other functional teams to implement and continuously improve automated workflows.
Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, technical operations, or a related field.
- Proven experience building and deploying LLM-powered agents, workflow automations, and API integrations in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, REST APIs, webhooks, orchestration frameworks, and modern LLM function-calling patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to design reliable systems, troubleshoot failures, and measure the operational impact of deployed automations.
- Strong technical judgment around when to leverage AI agents versus traditional software solutions or human oversight.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with the ability to work on-site in Los Angeles.
Preferred:
- Experience integrating and managing modern business technology platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, Linear, Intercom, or Retool.
- Familiarity with enterprise data security, SOC 2, HIPAA, and privacy-preserving AI workflows.
