Overview

Abidi Solutions is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Apigee Systems Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing API programs with the Apigee platform. Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs using Apigee Edge that are scalable and secure.
• Implement API management policies including security, traffic management, and analytics.
• Monitor and optimize API performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs with various applications.
• Handle troubleshooting and debugging issues in a timely manner.
• Document API specifications and maintain excellent coding standards.
• Provide training and support for API users and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on emerging API technologies and implement best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Apigee or other API management solutions.
• Strong understanding of RESTful services, API design principles, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with security protocols including OAuth and OpenID.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
