Senior Agentic AI Developer

Ameri Partners is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Developer / Forward Deployed Engineer to build and operationalize enterprise AI applications. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on delivering secure, production-ready solutions using Agentic AI, RAG, Python, Azure, and modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise Agentic AI and LLM-enabled applications.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines, retrieval workflows, structured outputs, and tool/function calling.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and working applications.
• Develop backend services, APIs, workflow integrations, and data-processing components using Python and SQL.
• Build Databricks notebooks, jobs, and SQL transformations for data ingestion, validation, matching, and processing.
• Implement AI guardrails, output validation, human-review workflows, fallback logic, and authorization controls.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, data sources, and approved tools.
• Develop unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for AI-enabled applications.
• Evaluate LLM outputs for accuracy, grounding, security, reliability, and appropriate abstention.
• Support secure authentication, secrets management, least-privilege access, and data-protection requirements.
• Implement monitoring, telemetry, model/prompt traceability, and production-support capabilities.
• Prepare deployment procedures, runbooks, rollback plans, and technical documentation.
• Partner with business, product, architecture, data, quality, and platform teams throughout delivery.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Strong experience with Agentic AI and RAG pipeline development.
• Experience developing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience delivering an LLM-enabled application beyond a basic chatbot or proof of concept.
• Experience building production-quality APIs, backend services, and enterprise integrations.
• Understanding of AI security, testing, governance, and production deployment practices.

Preferred Experience

• 6+ years in software or data engineering.
• 2+ years delivering LLM-enabled applications or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with Databricks and enterprise data engineering.
• Knowledge of prompt management, tool calling, model evaluation, AI observability, and MLOps/AI lifecycle practices.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams on end-to-end solution delivery.
