Job Overview

Visionary Innovative Technology Solutions LLC is seeking a dedicated AWS Engineer with a focus on Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps) to optimize our cloud spending and improve financial accountability for our cloud services. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud cost management frameworks to monitor and optimize AWS expenditures.
• Collaborate with finance and engineering teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and reports related to cloud services.
• Utilize AWS cost management tools to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
• Support and coach stakeholders in understanding cloud financial management principles and tools.
• Configure and maintain cloud billing alerts to proactively manage budgetary constraints.
• Analyze cloud usage patterns and prepare actionable insights for improving financial performance.
• Build dashboards and reports to communicate cloud spending trends and forecasts effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering or financial operations with a focus on cloud cost management.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and pricing models.
• Experience with FinOps principles and methodologies.
• Proficient in using cloud cost management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, and third-party FinOps tools.
