Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Operations Support Engineer to provide L2/L3 operational support, administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization of enterprise Microsoft Azure environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience supporting Azure infrastructure, resolving production incidents, performing root cause analysis, implementing changes, and automating operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 operational support for Microsoft Azure environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, Storage Accounts, and Managed Disks.
• Support Azure networking, including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute.
• Monitor infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Troubleshoot Windows and Linux workloads hosted in Azure.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Managed Identities, and Key Vault.
• Manage Azure Backup, recovery operations, and Azure Site Recovery.
• Perform incident management, problem management, change management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure Automation.
• Support Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Perform performance monitoring, capacity management, and cost optimization.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in 24x7 production support.

Required Skills – Must Have

1. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure (VMs, VNet, NSG, Storage, Load Balancer).
2. Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and troubleshooting.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, and Key Vault.
4. Strong Windows Server administration and working knowledge of Linux.
5. Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform/Bicep/ARM.
6. Strong ITIL/ITSM, Incident Management, Problem Management, and RCA experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in enterprise or managed-services environments.
• 24x7 production support experience.
• Hybrid Azure and on-premises infrastructure experience.
• ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
• Azure DevOps and Git-based deployment processes.
• Azure Backup and Disaster Recovery.
• AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-500 or ITIL certifications.
