Surgical Tech II – Cardiovascular supports complex cardiac and vascular procedures in a high-acuity healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, maintain, and monitor a sterile surgical field before and during procedures.
Anticipate surgeon needs and assist with seamless instrument readiness.
Handle and manage specialized cardiovascular instruments and equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety, infection-control, and sterile technique standards.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to support patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

Proven surgical technology experience, with strong competency in cardiovascular cases.
Knowledge of sterile processing, infection prevention practices, and surgical workflow.
Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced, clinical setting.
Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to safety protocols.
