Role Description: CDL A-Company Hotshot Drivers operate company-owned trucks and trailers to transport time-sensitive loads to various job sites and client locations. This full-time, OTR role is based in Auburn, AL, and involves daily driving, loading and securing freight, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and following all DOT and company safety regulations. The driver will plan routes, manage schedules to meet delivery deadlines, maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation, and communicate with dispatch and customers about load status and any issues encountered. The role also includes basic equipment care, reporting maintenance needs, and adhering to company policies and procedures while representing D2 Contracting LLC in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A license/hotshot experience with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification.
• Experience flatbed hauling, including safe loading, securing, and unloading of freight.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and standard safety practices for commercial drivers.
• Ability to read maps, use GPS and routing tools, and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
• Reliable attendance, professionalism when interacting with clients and team members, and clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, securing cargo, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to follow company policies, maintain accurate logs and documentation, and report equipment issues promptly.
• Previous experience in trucking, construction, or logistics is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
• Must be a US Citizen. (No Exception)
• Must be English speaking or Bilingual.
