Position Overview

Mindlance is seeking a skilled Cloud Azure/GCP Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform services. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the deployment of cloud applications, ensure optimal performance, and enhance security protocols. This role will require strong expertise in cloud technologies alongside comprehensive problem-solving skills to address infrastructure challenges effectively.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and services on Azure and GCP platforms.
• Monitor cloud resource performance and implement optimization strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Establish and maintain security protocols and compliance policies to protect cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and offer technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Create documentation for infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct regular system performance assessments and implement improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure, specifically Azure and GCP.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure architecture in cloud environments.
• Proficient in automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.

Technologies & Tools

The successful candidate will utilize a variety of technologies and tools essential for cloud infrastructure management including, but not limited to, Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service), Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine), as well as automation and orchestration tools like Terraform and Ansible.
