Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with integrated security testing.
• Collaborate with developers and system administrators to automate and streamline the development, testing, and release processes.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and risk assessments on cloud applications and infrastructure.
• Provide security expertise during the design and deployment of cloud solutions.
• Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and response to them accordingly.
• Develop security-related documentation, including security policies and incident response plans.
• Stay current on emerging security threats and technologies in relation to cloud resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security, DevOps, or related areas.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with security tools such as Snyk, Twistlock, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001) and cloud security best practices.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist, or similar are preferred.
