About the Opportunity:

The CLOUD ENGINEER role is designed for an early-career professional passionate about cloud computing and infrastructure management. The position is responsible for supporting the development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and applications, contributing to the organization's system reliability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in configuring, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services.
• Support cloud environments on platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Monitor cloud resources, system performance, and resource utilization.
• Support infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and routine maintenance.
• Aid deployment and management of cloud-hosted applications and services.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on Linux or Windows operating systems.
• Implement cloud security best practices, access controls, and resource permissions.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Support containerization and deployment workflows using Docker and related tools.
• Collaborate with software development and operations teams to improve deployment reliability.
• Assist troubleshooting cloud infrastructure connectivity, performance, and configuration issues.
• Maintain technical documentation for cloud resources and operational processes.
• Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code tools and modern cloud engineering practices.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• 0 to 1 year experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Systems Administration, or related role.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing fundamentals including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Basic knowledge of Linux or Windows operating systems and command-line tools.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals such as DNS, IP addressing, HTTP/HTTPS, and firewalls.
• Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of identity and access management, permissions, and cloud security basics.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and software deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker, containers, or Kubernetes is advantageous.
• Awareness of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving technical requirements.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:
