Overview

As a Cloud Security Engineer at Dario, you will be a vital member of our cybersecurity team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while proactively identifying and mitigating security risks. In addition, you will be tasked with monitoring security incidents, performing vulnerability assessments, and developing security training programs to bolster our defense strategies.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust cloud security architectures for various cloud service models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Monitor cloud environments for security breaches, vulnerabilities, and initiated response protocols to mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration tests on cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and promote DevSecOps best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging security technologies, threats, and trends to provide insights to the team.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security engineering or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption standards.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are preferred.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) to automate security tasks.

Technologies & Tools

The Cloud Security Engineer will utilize a variety of technologies and tools to ensure the security of our cloud environments. Primary technologies include cloud service platforms such as AWS and Azure, security information and event management (SIEM) tools, identity and access management (IAM) solutions, vulnerability management software, and security orchestration automation and response (SOAR) systems. Additionally, experience with container security solutions and cloud-native security tools will be highly advantageous.
