Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud architectures.
• Lead the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure for various applications.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes.
• Automate and optimize operational processes using configuration management, infrastructure as code, and other automation tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Establish best practices, guidelines, and documentation to enhance team capabilities and processes.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies that can improve performance or reduce costs.
• Support disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing to ensure system robustness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a proven track record in cloud architecture.
• Strong experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Expertise in containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• In-depth knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong understanding of network security and compliance protocols.

Technologies & Tools

The DevOps Architect will utilize a variety of tools and technologies including, but not limited to, AWS Services (EC2, S3, Lambda), Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and various monitoring and logging solutions. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence, will also be beneficial for effective project management and team collaboration.
