Cloud Destinations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure DevOps solutions that will enhance our cloud infrastructure and streamline development processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate operations, refine processes, and ensure a robust deployment pipeline. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support software development.
• Collaborate with software development and IT operations teams to automate and streamline processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain configuration management solutions using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Implement security best practices and compliance controls within the DevOps framework.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members in DevOps methodologies.
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes and technologies for optimal efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar experience.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Technologies & Tools

The DevOps Architect at Cloud Destinations will work with a variety of advanced technologies and tools, including but not limited to, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, Ansible, and various monitoring and alerting systems. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Bash, and Go is also advantageous for automating tasks and developing scripts.
