Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Establish monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address system performance issues.
• Lead initiatives to automate processes and reduce the time to market for product releases.
• Oversee the implementation of infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Conduct regular assessments of existing systems to identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.
• Train and mentor junior DevOps engineers on best practices and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Proven experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Exceptional scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Technologies & Tools

In this position, the DevOps Architect will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS and Azure for cloud services, Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, Terraform for infrastructure as code, Jenkins and GitLab for continuous integration and delivery, as well as monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with source control management systems, particularly Git, will also be essential.
