We are seeking an organized, customer-focused Dispatch Coordinator to coordinate fuel deliveries, communicate with customers and drivers, and help ensure safe, timely, and efficient operations. This role is essential to delivering exceptional customer service while maximizing driver productivity, managing inventory, and supporting daily branch operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, drivers, and branch personnel.
• Coordinate and schedule fuel deliveries to meet customer needs and maximize efficiency.
• Dispatch trucks and assign deliveries based on schedules, product availability, and customer priorities.
• Monitor fuel inventory and anticipate product needs based on sales and delivery trends.
• Communicate schedule changes, resolve delivery issues, and adjust plans as needed.
• Complete sales orders, process delivery tickets, enter data, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide customer pricing and respond to customer inquiries professionally.
• Support monthly inventory processes and fuel inventory management.
• Promote driver safety and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Confirm completion of daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and assist with truck-related issues as needed.
• Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Help maximize customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to schedule changes, and make sound decisions.
• Proficiency with computers and data entry.
• Ability to work collaboratively with customers, drivers, and branch personnel.

Preferred

• Previous dispatching experience, preferably in the fuel, transportation, or logistics industry.
• Experience with dispatch software.
• Familiarity with fuel inventory management systems and tools.
