The Engineering Director for Ubuntu Systems Management at Get It Recruit will play a pivotal role in leading and driving the strategic vision and execution of our Ubuntu systems management capabilities. Job Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team to develop and enhance Ubuntu systems management solutions, ensuring high quality and efficient performance.
• Oversee project management, guiding teams through the software development lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance.
• Foster collaboration between different technical and non-technical teams to align product offerings with market demands.
• Conduct regular reviews of processes and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Act as a key technical advisor and support to executive leadership, communicating technical concepts clearly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in Linux environments, particularly with Ubuntu distributions.
• Proven experience in systems management, DevOps practices, and cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in agile project management tools.
• In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines.

Technologies & Tools
