Job Overview

The Entra ID/Active Directory Engineer at HighCloud Solutions will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of our identity and access management systems. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage identity solutions using Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to user authentication and access control.
• Collaborate with IT departments to integrate identity solutions with other systems and applications.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards across all identity management practices.
• Conduct regular audits of user accounts and permissions to ensure security and accuracy.
• Implement and manage multifactor authentication processes and policies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding identity and access management systems.
• Document processes, systems configurations, and any changes made to the identity management environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Strong understanding of identity governance, Access Management, and single sign-on technologies.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure) and hybrid identities integration.
• Knowledge of security protocols, authentication methods, and industry best practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.

Technologies & Tools

The Entra ID/Active Directory Engineer will utilize a variety of technologies and tools, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, PowerShell, and identity protection solutions. Familiarity with Network Access Control (NAC) systems, security information and event management (SIEM) tools, and integration platforms will also be essential for this role.
