Environmental Health Safety Coordinator

Must Have Requirements:

• 3–5 years of EHS, workplace safety, or occupational safety experience.
• Safety experience within a data center, critical facility, or similar mission-critical environment.
• Experience reviewing and validating MOPs (Methods of Procedure) or similar work plans before work begins.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols for electrical, mechanical, facilities, or infrastructure-related work.
• Ability to identify hazards, review safety controls, and communicate concerns with technical teams and contractors.

Nice to Have Requirements:

• Direct data center safety experience.
• Experience with JHAs/JSAs, LOTO, electrical safety, contractor safety, or permit-to-work processes.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E and OSHA safety standards.
• OSHA 30 or other relevant EHS/safety certifications.
• Experience working around critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.

Day to Day:

The EHS Coordinator will support Oracle’s data center operations by ensuring planned work can be executed safely. A primary responsibility will be reviewing and validating MOPs before technicians, contractors, or facilities teams begin work. They will identify potential hazards, verify appropriate safety controls are documented, and work with technical teams to resolve safety concerns before work proceeds.

They will also support jobsite safety observations, hazard assessments, contractor safety, documentation, and compliance with established EHS procedures. This person should be comfortable working directly with facilities and engineering teams in a fast-paced critical environment where safety and uptime are both priorities.
