Job Description
About The Company
IDR Healthcare connects skilled professionals with opportunities at leading organizations. With more than 25 years of industry experience across four major markets, IDR is committed to building strong relationships with its clients and consultants. IDR has been recognized with ClearlyRated’s Best of Staffing® Client and Talent Award for 12 consecutive years and offers an Employee Stock Ownership Program. For this opportunity, IDR is partnering with a leading organization in healthcare technology. The client operates in a highly regulated, mission-critical environment where reliable, secure digital tools can support enterprise-wide work.
About The Role
IDR Healthcare is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a remote opportunity with one of its top clients. In this hands-on role, you will help design, develop, and improve digital tools that make enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and guidance easier to find and apply. You will work closely with architecture and engineering partners to deliver backend services, data capabilities, user-facing functionality, and AI-enabled features. Your work will contribute to architecture assurance and knowledge discovery while meeting the reliability, security, and operational expectations of a healthcare technology environment. This role is suited to an engineer who can contribute across the software development lifecycle and work independently while collaborating with a range of technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will bring strong full stack engineering experience, with deep expertise in backend development and databases. You should have demonstrated experience designing, building, and integrating APIs and backend services, along with the ability to contribute to front-end functionality. Hands-on experience developing generative AI applications is important, including familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and frameworks such as LangChain or comparable tools. Experience with cloud-based development is also required; GCP and/or Azure experience is preferred. Candidates should understand modern DevOps practices and CI/CD, and be comfortable supporting deployments and operational readiness. The ability to take ownership, communicate effectively, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle will help you succeed.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will build and enhance backend services, data models, and APIs that support internal architecture tools and workflows. You will contribute to front-end and UI functionality, helping deliver intuitive experiences for users who need to access and apply enterprise guidance. You will develop AI-enabled capabilities, including RAG-based features, to improve knowledge discovery and support architecture assurance. You will also integrate new solutions with existing enterprise platforms and systems, keeping security and reliability in focus. As part of the delivery process, you will support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and operational readiness. You will collaborate with architecture and engineering partners to understand needs, develop practical solutions, and help maintain high-quality software in a regulated environment.
Benefits
This remote opportunity offers a competitive compensation package of $75–$78 per hour on a W-2 basis. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. You will have the opportunity to contribute to important digital initiatives at an industry-leading organization while receiving support from an IDR Engagement Manager who is committed to your success. IDR also offers an Employee Stock Ownership Program and brings a strong track record of client and talent service.
Equal Opportunity
IDR Healthcare is committed to providing an inclusive and respectful recruiting experience. We welcome applicants with a range of backgrounds and experiences and encourage qualified candidates to apply. Employment decisions are based on role-related qualifications, skills, and business needs, in accordance with applicable laws.
