Job Overview

Adbakx is seeking a dedicated and skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform. Job Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions using GCP services.
• Monitor and manage cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies to ensure security protocols.
• Create automation scripts to streamline deployment processes and reduce manual interventions.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and integration with cloud services.
• Conduct regular system audits and implement necessary updates to maintain compliance and security standards.
• Provide training and support to team members on best practices for utilizing GCP services.
• Respond to and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, specifically with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security best practices.
• Proficiency in designing and deploying GCP services, such as Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Relevant certification in GCP, such as Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect, is preferred.
