Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and cost of cloud resources.
• Collaborate with software developers and system architects to define and implement cloud architecture strategies.
• Manage and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
• Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure and data.
• Automate cloud deployments and operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing cloud services.
• Document cloud architecture, procedures, and best practices for future reference.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar IaC tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and services within cloud environments.
• Relevant certifications, such as GCP Certified Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, are strongly preferred.

Technologies & Tools

The GCP Cloud Engineer will utilize a variety of technologies and tools including Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
