Looking for a hands-on role that can help you build a career in the aviation industry? Avports is seeking an Airport Fuel Farm Technician to fill a temporary position to join our team at Westchester County Airport https://airport.westchestercountyny.gov/

This opportunity provides hands-on experience with critical airport infrastructure and exposure to the operational, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements of a busy airport environment. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical, fueling, petroleum, industrial maintenance, or related experience who wants to expand their skills and grow within airport operations. 

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor Jet A and 100LL aviation fuel storage and distribution systems.


• Receive fuel deliveries and safely dispense fuel to authorized fueling vehicles.


• Perform fuel-quality checks and maintain accurate inventory and operational records.


• Inspect pumps, tanks, valves, filtration systems, safety equipment, and fuel farm facilities.


• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.


• Support environmental, spill-prevention, safety, and airport compliance requirements.


• Work alongside airport operations personnel, fueling operators, suppliers, and maintenance contractors. 

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED required.


• Two years of experience in fuel operations, aviation fueling, petroleum operations, industrial maintenance, or similar work preferred.


• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to safety and detail.


• Valid driver's license and ability to meet airport security, badging, and training requirements.


• Ability to work a flexible airport schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and emergency assignments as needed.
