Job Overview

The IT Systems Engineer at Capital Staffing Solutions, Inc. will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our IT infrastructure. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and reliable server and network infrastructures.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Configure and manage virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Enhance system security by implementing appropriate measures and conducting regular audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment.
• Document and maintain system configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior IT staff and other internal users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role for at least 3-5 years.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and architecture.
• Experience with operating systems including Windows Server, Linux, and Unix.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or other relevant credentials will be considered an advantage.
