Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud services.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.

Technologies & Tools

The IT Systems Engineer at SAIC will work with an array of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, Windows and Linux server environments, VMware and Hyper-V for virtualization, AWS and Azure for cloud services, various network monitoring and management tools. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet and familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell will also be valuable in optimizing system processes.
