Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of Java-based applications deployed on Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Supervise and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient software solutions, troubleshooting and optimizing existing applications.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies, integrating new tools and practices as appropriate.
• Support deployment, automation, and monitoring efforts for cloud applications.
• Participate in Agile practices including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven proficiency in Java programming and Java-related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with cloud computing services, specifically Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
