Maintenance Manager

Metric are currently partnered with one of our leading clients in looking for a strong Maintenance Manager to join their Cedar Rapids site. We are looking for a hands on Engineering leader who can manage a growing book of capital projects, work collaboratively with the rest of the leadership team and manage varying cross functional teams.

Responsibilities in addition, include:

• Lead Engineering & Maintenance: Supervise day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring equipment, machinery, and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
• Planned & Reactive Maintenance: Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and respond to breakdowns, minimising downtime and maintaining production continuity.
• Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop the maintenance team, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with company procedures.
• Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health & safety, engineering standards, statutory requirements, and company policies, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

To be considered for this role:

• A Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering is the preference, other Engineering verticals considered.
• Must have experience in the ingredients or chemicals industry.
• 3+ years managing project teams in engineering and or maintenance.
