Mechanical Engineer - Project Manager

I'm excited to share that Lyday Talent Partners is partnering with a client in support of an established engineering firm to find a Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager who wants to lead complex building projects, build lasting client relationships, and grow into their next level of leadership.

This role is ideal for a licensed PE who loves staying technically engaged while also owning projects, relationships, and team success.

What you'll do:

✅ Lead mechanical and multidisciplinary MEP projects from design through completion

✅ Serve as the primary contact for clients, architects, and project partners

✅ Manage scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables

✅ Provide technical leadership on HVAC, central utility plants, boilers/chillers, steam, and utility distribution systems

✅ Mentor and develop engineers and designers

Project types: Healthcare, laboratory, institutional, and other technically complex facilities

What we're looking for:

🔹 Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)

🔹 Mechanical building systems design experience

🔹 Project management experience in mechanical engineering or MEP consulting

🔹 Experience supervising or mentoring team members

🔹 Working knowledge of Revit for mechanical design

🔹 A relationship-builder who earns trust with clients and colleagues
