Role Description The Plant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, responsible for overseeing day-to-day plant operations and leading manufacturing teams. This role includes managing production schedules, supervising plant staff, and ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all manufacturing activities. The Plant Manager monitors equipment and facility performance, coordinates maintenance, and implements process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce waste. Daily responsibilities also involve managing budgets, tracking key performance metrics, and collaborating with leadership on capacity planning and resource allocation. The individual will foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development within the plant.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in plant leadership, including Plant Management and Operations Management skills.
• Strong background in Plant Operations and Manufacturing Operations, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Proficiency in Production Planning, including scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and using data to drive decisions.
• Knowledge of food safety or similar industry standards; experience with SQF or comparable certifications is an advantage.
• Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams, communicate clearly, and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with comfort using ERP and manufacturing systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
