The Judge Group is seeking a skilled Platform Operations Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of our enterprise-level platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support platform deployment, maintenance, and upgrades while leveraging best practices to resolve incidents and prevent future occurrences.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to ensure optimal functionality of platforms.
• Identify and resolve issues in production environments, coordinating with development teams as necessary.
• Automate operational processes and implement best practices for deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and execute platform upgrades.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
• Document processes, procedures, and incident reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response efforts for critical incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in platform operations or systems engineering.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix-based operating systems and shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
