EDZ Systems is seeking a highly skilled Principal DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of DevOps practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure swift and reliable software releases.
• Collaborate with software engineers to enhance system reliability and monitoring.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using industry-standard tools.
• Establish and enforce best practices for infrastructure security and compliance.
• Offer mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps engineers and other team members.
• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to improve system performance.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and develop strategies for performance enhancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Proficiency in automating deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Expertise in configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Solid grasp of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
