Overview

Node.Digital LLC is seeking a Principal/Lead Azure Cloud Modernization Engineer to spearhead our strategic initiatives in cloud migration and modernization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading teams in the design, implementation, and management of cloud solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, migration strategies, and best practices to ensure clients' digital transformation goals are met. The successful candidate will also engage collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimizing cloud infrastructure and applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Azure cloud solutions for multiple clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve existing cloud architectures.
• Develop and execute effective cloud migration strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in cloud security.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to achieve cost efficiency.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure high availability of cloud services.
• Manage ongoing cloud operations and maintenance for seamless service delivery.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience in cloud architecture design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Experience with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Professional certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal/Lead Azure Cloud Modernization Engineer will utilize a diverse set of technologies and tools, including but not limited to Azure Resource Manager, Azure Active Directory, Azure Monitor, and various Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Azure CLI. Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies using Azure DevOps, Git, and containers like Docker is also essential for this role.
