McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Receptionist in our Ames office. We are seeking a service-oriented individual who thrives in a team environment and is committed to providing extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

As a Receptionist, you will serve as one of the first points of contact for patients and visitors, helping create a positive experience while supporting the daily operations of the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner.
• Schedule appointments and assist patients with registration and check-in processes.
• Provide instructions and information to patients and visitors as needed.
• Maintain reception desk activities and support daily office operations.
• Uphold McFarland Clinic's Core Values and Promise while delivering outstanding customer service.
  
  

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
  
  

Experience

• One year of work experience preferred, ideally in a medical office setting.
• Receptionist experience preferred but not required.
• Keyboarding and computer proficiency required.
• Must complete a Medical Terminology course within one year of employment.
  
  

Schedule

Days: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
