Big 4 / Global Consulting Experience Preferred: Prior experience working with leading global consulting firms such as Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, Accenture, IBM Consulting, or Capgemini is a strong plus, particularly on large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation engagements.

Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Invoice to Cash (I2C) Functional Lead to support a large-scale SAP transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will provide functional leadership across solution design, configuration, integration, testing, issue resolution, and deployment.

This role requires strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, end-to-end Invoice to Cash processes, and cross-functional coordination with Finance, Sales, Billing, technical teams, and solution architects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Invoice to Cash workstream throughout the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation lifecycle.
• Conduct business requirements gathering, fit-to-standard workshops, process analysis, and functional solution design.
• Configure and optimize SAP Public Cloud processes covering billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, payment processing, cash application, and reconciliation.
• Ensure alignment with SAP best practices, SAP Activate methodology, and clean-core principles.
• Collaborate with SAP Finance (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), integration teams, and enterprise architects to support end-to-end business processes.
• Coordinate functional integrations between SAP and upstream/downstream enterprise applications.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and integration requirements.
• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Identify functional gaps, troubleshoot configuration and integration issues, and recommend effective solutions.
• Support data migration validation, cutover planning, deployment, go-live, and post-production hypercare.
• Manage workstream deliverables, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
• Provide functional guidance and mentorship to consultants and business users.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience, specializing in Invoice to Cash, Order to Cash, SAP FI-AR, or SAP SD.
• Hands-on experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
• Strong understanding of billing, invoicing, receivables, payment processing, clearing, and financial reconciliation.
• Experience with SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC), fit-to-standard workshops, and SAP Activate methodology.
• Proven experience in full-cycle SAP implementations, including configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI-SD integration and enterprise business processes.
• Experience leading functional workstreams and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud I2C/O2C transformation projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, APIs, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Familiarity with credit management, collections, dispute management, and automated cash application.
• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition certification in Finance or Sales.
