Overview

The Senior AI/ML Engineer at Xylo Technologies will play a pivotal role in advancing our machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities. This position requires a robust understanding of machine learning models, deployment pipelines, and operational practices to ensure the reliability and scalability of AI applications. The incumbent will lead cross-functional teams in optimizing performance, enhancing model accuracy, and integrating new technologies, while actively collaborating with data scientists and software engineers to implement best practices in MLOps and DevOps.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and algorithms.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineers in managing and preparing data for model training and evaluation.
• Monitor model performance, re-train models, and conduct A/B testing to validate improvements.
• Establish best practices for model governance, including version control and documentation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on MLOps practices and tools.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing software products and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or related fields.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with MLOps tools, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Apache Airflow.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective AI/ML services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.

Technologies & Tools

This position requires a strong familiarity with various technologies and tools, including but not limited to machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, version control systems such as Git, MLOps platforms including MLflow, and cloud computing services on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of data processing tools such as Apache Spark and SQL is also beneficial.
