Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to create infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor and optimize existing cloud architectures for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct cloud readiness assessments and assist in migration planning from on-premises infrastructure to AWS.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment processes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to peers and junior engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with AWS best practices and emerging technologies to recommend upgrades and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with AWS.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC.
• Experience in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Ability to create and manage infrastructure as code with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD workflows.
• Relevant AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.) are preferred.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior AWS Cloud Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS) components, infrastructure-as-code platforms like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab, container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker, and monitoring solutions like AWS CloudWatch and Prometheus.
