Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions on the AWS platform.
• Manage and optimize existing cloud infrastructure, focusing on performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure integration and compatibility of applications with cloud services.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Provide support and troubleshooting expertise for cloud-related issues and incidents.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging cloud technologies to advise on necessary changes or upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong focus on AWS technologies.
• Deep understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Ruby for automation tasks.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and security best practices in cloud environments.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification is highly desirable.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior AWS Cloud Engineer will utilize a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS Cloud Services, Jenkins for CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration, Terraform for infrastructure management, and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog. Additional experience with Git for version control and configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef is beneficial.
