Position Overview

Olsson is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Site Design. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing civil engineering projects from conception through completion. Job Responsibilities

• Lead site design projects, including conceptual design, site planning, grading, and drainage.
• Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies for new projects.
• Interact with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical advice.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering elements with other design aspects.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations and zoning codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in site design.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and design standards.
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and others.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
