Overview

Click Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer (Contract) to join our innovative team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure solutions to support our digital therapeutics platform. The Senior Cloud Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of cloud applications while also driving best practices in cloud architecture.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based architecture and solutions for various applications.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate cloud services with existing applications.
• Conduct security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard the cloud environment.
• Monitor resource usage and optimize costs for cloud services to ensure budget compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Assist in the automation of operational processes and deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and continuously evaluate their adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in cloud engineering or cloud architecture roles.
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Cloud Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools essential for cloud solutions, including but not limited to AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda), Azure components, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and various monitoring and logging tools (such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus). Mastery of these technologies will enable the engineer to effectively design, deploy, and manage cloud environments in support of our applications.
