Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves leveraging advanced data solutions to enhance personalization and operational efficiency within our organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in database design, data modeling, ETL processes, and scripting, contributing to the development of scalable and innovative data solutions that support our digital transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica.
• Develop and deploy data solutions, including building Jenkins pipelines for Python applications.
• Maintain and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and complex data processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze legacy systems, troubleshoot issues, and improve data workflows.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of database architectures, emphasizing data modeling and database development.
• Ensure quality assurance through thorough testing and validation of data solutions.
• Manage and support CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins, Git, and related platforms.
• Work within an Agile development framework, actively participating in team planning and reviews.
• Assist in the integration of data solutions with business intelligence tools and cloud platforms, where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology, with at least 3 years developing and deploying data solutions.
• Proven ETL experience with tools like Informatica or similar.
• Strong background in database design, development, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL, including building and tuning stored procedures and complex queries.
• Understanding of data analysis concepts and scripting abilities in Python.
• Experience building Jenkins pipelines specifically for deploying Python applications.
• Familiarity with maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and handle ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Systems analysis experience, particularly legacy process decomposition and debugging.
• Knowledge of MySQL and Snowflake is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with QA/testing methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of data science and data modeling techniques.
• Background in business intelligence tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Udeploy.
• Demonstrated success in handling multiple projects that showcase the above skills.
