Job Description: Our client, the central technological hub driving innovation across autonomous machinery, connected fleet ecosystems, and precision enterprise platforms, is seeking a Senior Full-Stack AI & Cloud Software Engineer (Software Analyst / Infrastructure Analyst IV) to join their Global IT Product Delivery Process (PDP) team in Moline, IL. In this senior technical leadership role, you will architect, build, and deploy end-to-end enterprise applications integrating modern web interfaces, high-performance microservices, and cutting-edge Generative AI / LLM workflows. You will develop responsive front ends with React and Vite, build resilient asynchronous backends in Python (FastAPI) and Rust, orchestrate enterprise RAG and agentic workflows (LangChain, LangGraph), manage big data pipelines on Databricks and Spark, and deploy secure, containerized cloud infrastructure on AWS with Kubernetes and Terraform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generative AI & LLM Systems: Design, implement, and optimize enterprise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, vector search indexes, and autonomous agent workflows using LangGraph, LangChain, and state-of-the-art LLMs.
  • Full-Stack Application Engineering: Build modular, modern front-end interfaces using React and Vite, coupled with high-throughput, low-latency backend microservices using FastAPI (Python) and Rust.
  • Big Data & Analytics Infrastructure: Develop and maintain large-scale data processing workflows using Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, and MongoDB, ensuring data pipelines support real-time inference and reporting.
  • Cloud Architecture & Containerization: Deploy and manage scalable containerized workloads on AWS (EC2, S3, ECR, RDS, IAM, VPC) utilizing Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD: Maintain and provision immutable cloud environments using Terraform; automate testing and continuous delivery pipelines via GitHub Actions.
  • Enterprise Security & Identity: Implement secure identity and access management controls utilizing OAuth, OIDC, and SAML standards.
  • Technical Leadership & Agile Delivery: Lead user story sizing, architectural design reviews, and automated testing; mentor junior engineers across cloud and AI development best practices within an Agile delivery framework.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience Level: 4 to 7+ years of professional full-stack software development, cloud systems, and data platform engineering experience.
  • Generative AI & LLM Frameworks: Hands-on experience architecting production RAG systems, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows using LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Full-Stack Development: Strong proficiency in modern front-end web development (React, Vite, HTML5, CSS3) and backend microservices using Python (FastAPI) or Rust.
  • Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with distributed data processing using Databricks, Apache Spark, along with relational (SQL) and document-based (MongoDB) databases.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Demonstrated expertise with AWS core services, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions).
  • Authentication Standards: Working knowledge of modern auth protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Stand-Out Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience deploying production AI/LLM models at enterprise scale with fine-tuning, latency optimization, and guardrail enforcement.
  • Advanced systems programming experience in Rust for performance-critical components.
  • Prior experience with enterprise Product Delivery Process (PDP), digital manufacturing systems, or IoT fleet telemetry.

Actual Skills Required:

  1. Full-Stack Web & API Engineering (React, Vite, FastAPI / Python, Rust)
  2. Generative AI & Agentic Architectures (LLMs, RAG, LangGraph, LangChain)
  3. Enterprise Cloud & DevOps Automation (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions)
  4. Big Data & Distributed Analytics (Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, MongoDB)
  5. Enterprise Identity & Access Management (OAuth, OIDC, SAML)
