Job Description

Position

Job Title: Senior Manager, Events

Reports To: Senior Director, Events

Position Overview

Dior is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Events to drive the execution of our experiential strategy across the Americas. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end planning, production, and operational delivery of regional events and activations, translating brand vision into seamless, impactful experiences that strengthen client relationships, support commercial goals, and drive brand desirability.

Working in close partnership with Client Development/CRM, Retail, Merchandising, Marketing, and regional teams, you will execute differentiated activations across the entire client pyramid: from broad community acquisition moments to high-touch VIC experiences.

Job responsibilities

Events Strategy & Activation Calendar

  • Partner with the Senior Director to translate the Americas events and activation strategy into an integrated annual plan, with ownership of key regional programs and initiatives.
  • Own designated events and activation programs from strategic brief through concept development, execution and post-event evaluation, serving as the primary cross-functional lead for assigned initiatives.
  • Partner with CRM and Client Development to design differentiated event strategies across the client pyramid—from prospecting and acquisition through engagement, retention, elevation and VIC cultivation—with clear objectives and success measures for each audience.
  • Research and implement innovative event formats that drive discovery, intimacy, and lasting client engagement, backed by post-event ROI tracking, qualitative client feedback, and clear accountability metrics to measure long-term value creation.

Event Programming & Retail Execution

  • Oversee the creation and production of distinctive event concepts—ranging from intimate client dinners to major brand moments.
  • Develop market-specific event strategies that support Dior’s retail network, flagship locations, and key regional communities.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to build targeted activation concepts that create storytelling and desire around strategic product categories.

Event Execution & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the end-to-end operational execution of regional events, maintaining uncompromising standards of hospitality, production quality, service, and brand image.
  • Manage project-level event budgets, optimizing expenditures and ensuring disciplined cost tracking against business objectives.
  • Manage agency, vendor, and production relationships day-to-day, negotiating strong partnerships, operational efficiencies, and contractual deliverables.
  • Implement best practices and operating standards to ensure consistent event execution across regional markets.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Team Collaboration

  • Serve as a key cross-functional partner for events, ensuring smooth communication and alignment across Communications, CRM, Retail, Merchandising, and Digital teams.
  • Manage and develop junior team members, providing clear project leadership, delegation, feedback and development while building a culture of creativity, accountability and operational excellence.

Profile

  • Experience: 7–9+ years of progressive experience in luxury events, experiential marketing, client engagement, or high-end hospitality.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of luxury event production, hospitality standards, and the luxury client journey.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex, high-profile events and collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization.
  • Commercial & Operational Acumen: Strong track record in budget management, agency oversight, and aligning experiential projects with commercial and CRM metrics.
  • Travel: Ability to travel frequently across the Americas and internationally as required by event programming.
