Job Title: Senior Network Security Engineer

Location: Washington, DC (Onsite – 5 Days a Week)

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
11+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, or infrastructure security.
Strong hands-on experience administering and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls in enterprise environments.
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, LAN/WAN architectures, VPNs, and network security principles.
Experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, DLP, CASB, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
Hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting and automation.
Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
