About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER role on the MinuteClinic Product Engineering team involves designing, building, and operating services that support patient-facing scheduling, clinical workflows, and provider tools nationwide. This position owns features end-to-end, from backend development to deployment and monitoring, contributing to the migration from legacy systems to modern delivery infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reliable services using C#/.NET, Java, or Python across various hosting environments
• Manage full service delivery lifecycle including coding, CI/CD pipeline definition, deployment, and production monitoring
• Build and operate containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes
• Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms Azure, GCP, and AWS using platform-managed services
• Instrument services with monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Grafana, and maintain escalation policies
• Write and maintain integration and end-to-end tests; participate in code reviews focusing on security and readiness
• Apply foundational AI/ML knowledge to integrate LLM APIs and evaluate AI-assisted development tools
• Participate in on-call rotations to triage and resolve production incidents
• Contribute to architectural decisions and documentation
• Collaborate with product owners, clinical stakeholders, and infrastructure engineers to deliver solutions

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in C#/.NET, Java, Python, or similar languages
• Strong understanding of IIS-hosted web applications, REST API design, and relational/no-SQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with cloud-hybrid environments (Azure, GCP, AWS) and tools like JFrog Artifactory
• Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting production issues using APM or log aggregation tools

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The typical pay range for this role is $101,970.00 to $203,940.00 annually
• This position is eligible for a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to base pay
