Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain system reliability strategies and processes to enhance service availability and performance.
• Monitor system performance and optimize configurations to ensure optimal efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on services.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure systems are designed for reliability and operability.
• Conduct root cause analysis of service disruptions and implement corrective actions toprevent future occurrences.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks and improve system response times.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems reliability engineering or a related area.
• Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) and incident management systems.
• Proficient in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
