Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and operation of large-scale cloud infrastructures using AWS.

• Manage incident responses and conduct post-mortem analysis to reduce downtime and improve performance.
• Develop and establish SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs to ensure services meet customer expectations.
• Collaborate with development teams to guide application design for reliability and scalability.
• Perform capacity planning and demand forecasting to ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Mentor and train junior team members on best practices in site reliability engineering.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure system availability and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong expertise with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Understanding of networking protocols and concepts, including DNS, routing, and load balancing.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
