Overview

Cogent Integrated Business Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing strategies to ensure the quality of our software applications. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automated test strategies for web and mobile applications.
• Create and maintain test cases, scripts, and automated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Execute manual and automated test cases for new and existing features.
• Identify, document, and track defects in the issue tracking system.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, contributing to the overall quality assurance competency within the organization.
• Monitor and report on the progress of testing and the quality of the software products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or similar role in software quality assurance.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Technologies & Tools
