About the Opportunity:

The SOFTWARE ENGINEER – AI APPLICATIONS & SERVICENOW role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining AI-enabled applications and ServiceNow solutions within secure government cloud settings. The position ensures these applications are production-grade, secure, and compliant, supporting the organization's mission to deliver advanced AI capabilities integrated with enterprise and government cloud services. This role supports continuous improvement, operational reliability, and the integration of AI with ServiceNow workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled applications using generative AI, machine learning, and large language models.
• Integrate AI services with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and workflow platforms.
• Implement AI application security controls including identity management, data protection, logging, and monitoring.
• Evaluate and incorporate commercial, open-source, and cloud-native AI technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in applications, integration, data, infrastructure, and AI services.
• Deploy and operate applications within FedRAMP Moderate, FedRAMP High, and GCC High environments.
• Support secure software development lifecycle and DevSecOps practices including CI/CD pipeline development.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and other ServiceNow components.
• Apply best practices in ServiceNow development for secure, maintainable, and upgrade-compatible solutions.
• Produce technical documentation supporting security assessments and operational readiness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5 to 8 years in professional software engineering.
• Experience developing and supporting AI-enabled production applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures.
• Familiarity with integrating AI/ML services, LLMs, enterprise data sources, and external APIs.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in regulated cloud environments with FedRAMP security requirements.
• Knowledge of secure software engineering principles, DevSecOps, CI/CD, vulnerability management, and application security.
• Experience with ServiceNow development, integrations, and platform capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop secure technical solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:
